Wheelsets are now structured data behind the scenes
Every wheelset a rider wrote down — "ZIPP 303s", "Fulcrum Racing 5 DB", "Reserve 40/44" — has been read into a make, a model, a rim material and a rim depth, checked against manufacturers' own spec pages. Nothing on the pages changes yet; a Wheels section and a wheels panel on the bike drawing are next.
- 182 of 250 bikes now have a named wheel make, 118 a rim material and 84 a rim depth, derived from what riders wrote and a cited catalogue of 67 wheel models
- The original wheelset text is kept beside the derived fields, so you will always be able to see what was actually written
- Ten wheel sizes written as 700c (29") are now simply 700c
- Indonesian wheel makers in the field were checked one by one: Entity, Pertual, Polygon, Strummer and Wdnsdy
