Bayu Wiranagara · #BJ6CAP33 Being one of the Bentang Jawa participants is a dream I never even dared to dream over the past five years. Then, somehow, the opportunity came. A huge thank you to @yumajucoffee and @bearpathid for making it happen. Meet my humble companion, Shazu. An old heavy metal from 1995, running a mixed brake system setup and a 1:0.63 drivetrain ratio in 2×9-speed groupset. Equipped with bikepacking bags to carry everything I need for this journey. This ugly little weird machine wasn't built for speed. It was built to experience every kilometer, embrace the pain, and enjoy the suffering. I won't be racing. I'll simply be cruising across Java in survival mode. To my family and friends, thank you for all the support.
